THE POOR SCHOLAR'S SOLILOQUY
He is kid who has a lot of "street smarts." He doesn't write well which could perceive him to be slower. It sounds like he thinks outside the box. When he was talking about measuring the width of road, he wanted to know all details of the problem. He was thinking abstractly. He wants to learn the things that are relevant in his life not what is relevant in others.
